Summer Learning In Lake Shore
Resources to keep students learning during summer break.
Keep Students Learning
Learning happens when children are provided opportunities to engage, think, identify and solve problems, collaborate, and reflect. During this time when students will have a longer break than usual from school buildings and direct instruction from teachers, children still have opportunities to stay engaged in learning through programs, activities, play, conversations and more. At Lake Shore, we are learning partners with you regardless of when the school buildings are open or if we are taking attendance. Please reach out to Academic Services at any time with questions or for recommendations.
Summer Camps - Formal learning opportunities, registration required by Friday, June 19th.
Continue learning activities in Schoology and SeeSaw
We are extending access to the learning activities that were posted in SeeSaw (K-2) and Schoology (K-12) during our time of emergency remote learning through Friday, July 10th. While teachers will not providing feedback, there are great learning activities, links and resources that will keep your students sharp and prepared for school in the fall.
Many of our teachers have provided families with recommended links and activities through communications and posted in SeeSaw and Schoology.
As a reminder, all high school students who earned an "I" (Incomplete) have until July 10th to complete and submit assignments to earn credit for the 19/20 third trimester classes.
