What Does Valley View Offer?
-Medical, Science, Technology (MST) Program for both 7th ad 8th grade
-MST Elective Options: Two options
-Gaming/ Coding- Focus on Technology, students will learn the basics of coding, gaming, as well as robotics through the use of Spheros
-Bio-Tech/ Sports Medicine- Students will focus on human anatomy, bio-tech, and how sports medicine has changed throughout the years.
Restorative Justice- A leadership program that has students develop empathy and become peer tutors, peer mentors, as well as help students learn from their errors on campus.
-English with an Emphasis in Film- 8th Grade English course that teaches English standards while having students learn about film and how English specifically works in film
-6th, 7th, 8th Grade Honors Courses- All grade levels offer honors courses which is not more work but more academic rigor
-Algebra and Geometry- Math has many options for our students
6th Grade can take general or honors math
7th Grade can take, general, math accelerated, or Algebra
8th Grade can take general, Algebra, or Geometry
PE- Students have a choice of PE- General, Yoga, or Dance
Electives Offered- Beginning Band or Strings, Advanced Band or Strings, Choir- three levels
Spanish 1, Art, Anime, Ceramics, Coding, Video Production, Robotics, Entrepreneurship, Science of Foods and Cooking, Yearbook, Leadership, Podcasting, Mock Trial, Drama
Mock Trial- Competes with other middle school teams in the Spring
Robotics- Our two teams qualified for State last year and were on the verge of going to Nationals until the Pandemic began.
Instrumental Program- Highest honors at regional festivals, beating many high schools
Choir Program- High honors at regional festivals

School Of Choice- Here is How it Works!
- Take a tour (not required).
- Attend the VVMS Showcase/ Open House on February 9th.
- Complete the School of Choice Application on our website. This is due by February 28th.
- Families will be notified by March 3rd of their acceptance.
- Families will need to attend a registration night in March, dates to follow later, to help with the registration process for VVMS.
