Keeping the Faith and Keeping Connected

January 9, 2020

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:19-23

Celebrating National School Choice Week

During the week of January 27-31, we will be celebrating National School Choice Week. National School Choice Week first began in 2011 and is now celebrated all over the country and the world. The goal of National School Choice Week is to raise public awareness about the K-12 school choice options available to children and to raise awareness of the importance of education. We understand that choosing a school for your children is a big decision and we want to thank you for choosing Heritage! During this week we will engage in activities in which we will celebrate the blessing of having educational choices and highlight the wonderful education, students, faculty, and families at Heritage Academy.

College Scholarship Information

Planning for college can be complicated and overwhelming. The College Board Opportunity Scholarships simplify the path to college by offering all students a guide with the most important actions to plan and prepare for college. Completing each step will earn students a chance for a scholarship. When students complete all six steps, they’ll be eligible to earn $40,000 for their college education, that can be applied to two- or four-year colleges. At least half of all scholarships will be awarded to students whose families earn less than $60,000 per year. Make sure that juniors and seniors sign up and take action at to be eligible for scholarships.

Old School Values, New School Schedule

Heritage Academy is a University-Model® School, facilitating students' access to excellent education, increased time with family, and opportunities for growth toward maturity while providing a cost-effective, college-preparatory education. In an age where family life is becoming increasingly fragmented, the unique structure of the model also serves to “turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers ” (Malachi 4:6).
