DINO TRACKS
OCTOBER 18,2017
UIL is DUE THIS FRIDAY!!!!!
A Note from Mrs. Choate:
Music classes have been going great this year. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade learned about playing guitars when we had our turn to use the RRISD set of instruments in September. For Hispanic Heritage Month all of the students learned a song in Spanish. You can see videos of what the students have been learning on the "Dino Tube" page of my website. I will be adding more videos throughout the year, but you can check out what we have now with this link: DINO TUBE
Third, fourth, and fifth graders have been studying jazz and we enjoyed a concert by the Austin Jazz Workshop last Friday. The kids did a great job singing with our guest performers.
Also, if anyone needs help recording their music project on a CD to turn in for our PTA Reflections contest, please contact me at lorinda_choate@roundrockisd.org or 512-218-8694. Thank you.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Want to help Deep Wood raise money to support YOUR child's classroom?
Here is an easy way you can help:
Clip the Box Tops from hundreds of participating products and send them to school. Each one is worth 10¢ when our school redeems them from Box Tops for Education. Look for the dotted lines with a scissor for the official coupon. Turn in your clipped box tops in a baggie with your child’s name, child’s teacher, and grade written on the baggie.
Thanks for choosing to make a difference for our school with Box Tops!
Sincerely,
Amy Kasiske, Box Top Cooridnator
