Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,

If you have not already confirmed, please consider joining us this Friday night at 6:30PM in the JMS cafeteria for casual adult conversation over coffee and snacks. Cleverly coined the "Sweet Treat Meet & Greet" by PTO President Jessy Barone, this event is an effort to strengthen the connections between our many families and between the school and the Morris community. Babysitting will be provided by our student Leadership group.

A Message from Sarah Bills, Vocal Music Teacher

Please join us for our third annual Winter Vocal Concert at Wamogo, featuring the Inter-Elementary Select Choir and the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students from Warren, Morris, and Goshen in the Inter-Elementary Combined Choir. The concert will be held on the evening of Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the James M. Eisenhaure Auditorium at Wamogo. Please visit my website for additional information. Look forward to seeing you there!

School Pictures - Retakes

Heather Norris will be at JMS the morning of Monday, 11/30 for school picture retakes. To reserve a slot for your child, please call our main office (860 567-7420).

Field Trip to Promote Diversity Awareness

Our K-6 students will be taking a field trip in early December to Chapter 126 Sports & Fitness Center in Bristol, CT. The facility is self-described as “providing health and wellness to those with physical disabilities through fitness and sports programming, promoting lifelong health and personal empowerment. We are dedicated to ensuring that the quality, diversity and availability of our programs are equal to sports and fitness programs for those without disabilities.” All K-6 students in Region 6 will be visiting the facility for a 2-hour program, as we believe it supports one of our district goals of increasing students’ awareness of issues of diversity. There is no cost to families for this field trip. Transportation has been arranged through All-Star.
