News for the week of September 8, 2014
Hello Livonia PTA! Please pardon the frequent emails! I'm working on finding the best way to communicate with you - I will try to limit these emails to the first and third Monday of each month. If you have news that you would like to share, please email me (by the Friday prior.) Please let me know if there is anything that you'd like to see here - or if you have other feedback.
We're looking forward to a great 2014-2015 PTA year. Please let us know how we can help you to succeed.
Julie Thompson
Livonia PTSA Council President

Clothing Depot Info
Started over 40 years ago by two dedicated PTA moms, The Clothing Depot is a free clothing closet serving financially challenged students of Livonia Public Schools and sponsored by the Livonia PTSA Council.
Customers to The Depot receive gently used clothing and shoes donated by members of the community. A monetary gift from many of Livonia’s local PTA/PTSA units buys a new pair of athletic shoes, new socks and new underwear for each student twice during the school year.
The Depot is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12 noon whenever Livonia Public Schools is in session. Shopping at The Clothing Depot is by appointment only and the student must be present. Gently used clothing of all sizes is accepted during these hours, as well. Due to space constraints, household items are no longer offered. If you can‘t make it for donation during these hours, call The Depot for other arrangements.
Students are referred to the Clothing Depot by the school principal, psychologist or ESAP specialist and parents or guardians can make the appointment by calling
(734) 744-2525, ext. 25128.
Hours of Operation
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00am – 12:00pm (when LPS schools are in session)
