On behalf of all of us at the Beachmont, we wish all of our families a happy, healthy, safe, and restful December break and New Year!

For me, the new year is a time to reflect, set some goals, and strive to do better in my personal and professional life. We hope that 2022 will bring about positive change and will allow all of our students to grow both academically and social-emotionally.

As you will see in the newsletter, we continued our Four Bees Celebration with "Mega Bingo" on December 8th. Students had a great time in our cafeteria and everyone walked away with a prize! Special thanks to the 5th Grade team and 5th-grade peer leaders! Our next celebration will take place on January 12th!

We hope that all families were able to engage in Parent-Teacher Conferences during the month of December. This was a great opportunity to hear about how your child is doing. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher if you have additional questions or concerns.

I want to give a special shout-out to our new PTO. In December, they were a tremendous help running our Scholastic Book Fair and put together a great community event, "Winter Wonderland Walk." This was a great opportunity to come together, smile, and laugh. I hope that all that attended had a great time!

We have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. I know that this school year has provided us with many ups and downs. We will continue to provide all students with the academic and social-emotional support they need to be successful.

It's a great day to be a bee!
