PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
GT Hours
From Deanna....
Good afternoon!
The district just let me know that 2 hours that they provided in August will be tagged as GT and can be counted as part of the 4 hours classroom teachers need to do on their own.
If you have already done your GT hours, you can always use them for trade hours. If you haven’t done your hours yet, you only need to find 2 additional GT hours. WOO HOO!
For our September 4th PACE Update: Please bring a unit plan for an upcoming unit. We will be discussing pre-assessments. You will have time with your teams to analyze a unit plan and the essential learning targets. You will work together to create a pre assessment for your grade level.
Here’s to another great week!
You can also sign-up through My Learning Plan. See the picture below of where to find this in My Learning Plan after log-in.
(Click GT Update on the left column. Then click on the word, 'Instructions')
ANNUAL COMPLIANCE TRAINING
So many of you have completed all your training, and it is truly appreciated. I know it must also feel good to have it 'checked-off' your list.
A few prefer to manage their time by working the deadlines. Please be sure you complete the trainings before their due date. I will send out confidential reminders only in regards to past-due. Would very much like to not have to send any of those out. Appreciate you!
