Jesus of Nazareth Rejected in his own Town

Early this morning, many people gathered at the synagogue to hear what Joseph's son, Jesus, had to proclaim. Most people that gathered have been lasting friends of Jesus and his family and know him very well. Jesus began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." Many people spoke well of him and were truly amazed at the words that were coming from his mouth. Many of the people gathered there kept asking, "Isn't this joseph’s son?" Jesus answered this by proclaiming very boldly, "I tell you the truth," he continued, "no prophet is accepted in his hometown. [25] I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah's time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. [26] Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. [27] And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed; only Naaman the Syrian." After this proclamation, the people gathered in the synagogue were furious with Jesus. They tried to throw him off a cliff, but Jesus has walked through the crowd of people and on his way.

The following of disciples

On June 15th, Jesus of Nazareth is seen walking along the Sea of Galilee. It is here that he stumbles across several men casting their nets. There are two boats. Jesus shows an interest in these men. Stepping into one of the boats, he finds potential in these men and calls each of them to follow in his teachings. Each of these called disciples departs from what they are doing and immediately follows Jesus. He shows for many christians that we are all called to be God's people. Jesus calls upon all of us to be his disciples. He showed the christian people what he wants people to do and to spread his word in any way they can.

Food Critique

During a hot day in the desert with many MANY people, i was gathered. Starving, we only had 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. Jesus of Nazareth was with us and i could see he had an idea. He told the men with the leftover food to pass it out. astonished, when the bucket got passed to me it as filled to the rim of the most delicious looking bread i had ever seen. Taking a bite of this bread it melted in my mouth. It was made of the most incredible yeast i had ever tasted yeast made by god himself. i give this 5 stars!!!!!
