On Boarding Activities!
CAPS Associates have participated in several onboarding activities in the first 6 weeks. Associates have also learned many things on how to be a professional such as: writing professional emails, dressing professionally, writing CAPS pitches, shaking hands (COVID Style), greeting clients appropriately, how to lead discovery meetings, etc. This will prepare them as they began working on projects for future clients.
Agile/Scrum and Discovery Training!
CAPS Associates participated in the Agile/Scrum and Discovery Training on Zoom for 2 team days. Associates learned how to manage projects and improve upon themselves.
UNI Leadership Training!
Associates participated in the UNI Leadership Training over Zoom for 2 team days. Associates were put into breakout rooms with associates from CF and Jesup and had different scenarios to solve.
The Design Sprint!
CAPS Associates were split up into 2 groups and were given a real world problem to solve. They were to come up with a plan, create a pitch, and present to a panel of judges within 48 hours.
Columbus CAPS Penning Ceremony!
More about the ceremony...
Recently Mrs. Wheeler held a penning ceremony for the Columbus CAPS Associates to be recognized for all of their hard work over the course of the past 5 weeks. We had Navy Officer, Petty Officer Cardona, come and talk about her personal experiences with a “pinning” ceremony. She compared the pinning ceremony in the Navy to our penning ceremony in CAPS and they both show how important it is to advance as a professional and in your career. It was a very valuable experience. Thank you Petty Officer Cardona!
