Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
February 12th - 16th
Dear Parents,
Sorry for such a long letter this week, but we have lots of information to share!
Mid-quarter reports (for 3rd quarter) were sent home on Friday. We ask that you return these signed by Tuesday. As always, we will send them back home once they are checked.
Red Wolves Read ticket forms are due back by Monday. These must be filled out and returned in order for your child to receive his/her free ticket to the basketball games on Thursday, February 22nd.
Update your calendars! Game Night has been changed to Tuesday, February 20th.
Our Valentine's Day parties will be this Wednesday. If your child signed up to bring something, he/she may bring it in at your convenience. If he/she is planning to pass out Valentine cards we ask that they be brought to school by Tuesday.
Students have been working on the research part of their Genius Hour projects. Many are now ready to start the creating phase! If your child plans on creating a poster or model, those materials need to be purchased and brought to school. Thanks for your help with this!
Our JA Biztown program is off to a great start! Our students are loving the lessons and have SO many questions that relate to the real world. Students will put the skills they learn during classroom lessons to use at our field trips in March. Mrs. Davis's class will be going on Tuesday, March 27th. Mrs. Martin's Class will be going on Wednesday, March 28th. We will leave first thing that morning and not return to school until 4:30/5 p.m.
We need your help with our Night of the Arts silent auction baskets!
