5227 Cherry Avenue

The Avon Store in Hudsonville has given us a great opportunity to do some shopping and earn some money for our school. Avon will be donating up to 40% of purchases back to Alward. Catalogs were sent home with students yesterday. You may shop a few different ways.

1. You may order from the catalog and return with payment to school by Friday, Dec. 7. All orders will be delivered to school by Monday, Dec. 17.

2. You may also shop at the Avon Store in Hudsonville (5227 Cherry St. ) starting Saturday, Dec. 1 - Saturday, Dec. 8. Just mention that you are from Alward at checkout, so Alward will get credit for your purchase.

3. You may also order online through Saturday, Dec. 8 at www.avon.com/fundraiser/alward

This is a great way to do some Holiday shopping and give back to our school. If you have any questions, please contact Andi Butler at andi6543@att.net.

Count on Me-Alward Students and Staff Making a Difference

This year, our students and staff are working on taking initiative to make a difference in the lives of others. If you hear about how an Alward student, teacher, or staff member made a difference in someone else's life, please fill out the Google Form below. We will be posting these "Count on Me" sightings on our new bulletin boards right outside the main office. Students, parents and staff members can recognize others for things as simple as someone always saying hello to them or holding the door for them. We can also recognize others for going as far as helping out in the community. We want to know how our students and staff are making a difference at Alward and out in the community and celebrate these acts of kindness this year! Thank you for taking the time to support this "Count on Me" initiative this school year!
