Subject: Honor Flight Request for Veteran Thank You letters from students
Once again we are requesting letters from area students for the Veterans on the Spring flights to Washington, DC. The flights are April 27th and May 25th.
Would you help us and forward the attached to your contacts and let them know that we are so grateful for everyone’s participation. We have received many letters from your students on past flights.
We have found that on previous flights many Veterans have asked if the letters would have the school name and address on it somewhere, because they would like to respond to questions that some of the students ask.
The Veterans are so excited when they receive these letters on their flight back to Fort Wayne. The large envelope which contains their mail is presented to them on the plane.
Many months later, the Veterans are still reading them and enjoying the messages from students.
Thank you for your help in honoring our Veterans.
