Mill Valley Weekly

Thursday, April 2nd, 2020

Dear Mill Valley Families,

As we enter this new normal together, we have a lot to celebrate at Mill Valley. We have earned the 2019-20 Wisconsin Title I School of Recognition “High Achieving” and “High Progress” Awards! High Achieving schools have achievement gaps that are less than three percentage points between student groups and demonstrate high achievement at the school level across content areas. High Progress schools fall within the top 10 percent of schools experiencing student growth in reading and mathematics. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you when we are back together again.

For those families who requested a Chromebook through the district survey, here are some friendly reminders. We are handing out A LOT of devices and ask for your patience. Needless to say we have never done this before.

When: Thursday (4/2) 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm & Friday (4/3) 7:30 am - 11:00 am

  • Have your last name and grade of your oldest child written in large letters on a piece of paper in your windshield.

  • Enter the driveway from Hillendale Avenue. Stop at Door 1 (Main Office).

  • As your vehicle approaches the pick-up area, school staff will bring out the appropriate device(s). Please do not get out of your car.

  • Arrive at the school during the pick-up times listed above.

Sincerely,

Robin Schrot & Allyce Harris
