Cimarron Middle School Newsletter - October 8, 2015

Colts Chronicle provides bi-monthly information to parents, students, staff, and community

Principal Notes:

Dear Cimarron Families,

Fall break is a great time to reflect on our first quarter, and I am so proud of the accomplishments of our students!

Thank you for partnering with our staff to continue to provide learner-centered opportunities and resources for our students. Learning expeditions, field studies, technology, guest speakers, performing and visual arts, foreign language, athletics and clubs are just a few of the choice opportunities that allow us to meet the needs of all students at Cimarron.

With the help of our Cimarron PTO and community partnerships, this quarter we were able to provide our students with three powerful assemblies. These experiences not only exposed our students to new content and information, but inspired them to consider the impact of these experiences on their lives! Again, we appreciate your support and partnership, and look forward to a great second quarter at Cimarron!

-Chris Zimmerman

Sweethearts & Heroes

Sweethearts and Heroes - This inspirational presentation gave our students an important message about tolerance, awareness of bullying, and most importantly, an action plan for when bullying happens. The impact of this assembly will continue to foster a school climate where kids refuse to let bullying happen.
