Visitation Day: August 30th
A visitation day has been planned for all 3rd grade students, any new students to TJ and former virtual students. The student should be accompanied by one adult and masks are required to enter the building. Please see the schedule below.
9:00 a.m. - Ms. Arnette's Class
9:30 a.m.- Ms. Foley's Class
10:00 a.m.- Ms. Kwiatkoski's Class & Ms. Wilcox's Class
10:30 a.m.- Ms. Grosso/Pistner's Class
11:00 a.m.- Ms. Rose's Class
11:30 a.m.- 4th Grade Students (new and former virtual students)
12:00 p.m.- 5th Grade Students (new and former virtual students)

Transportation information will be available on the portal. Please review your child's bus assignment the week of September 6 for the most updated information.
School newsletters will be sent out periodically to keep you informed of school happenings.
Class Dojo is another communication tool used between teachers and parents. School announcements, reminders, and events will also be posted here. Teachers will send home a code for you to sign up to their Class Dojo.

School supplies have been ordered for each class. If any additional items are needed you will be informed throughout the school year.
Students should come to school with a backpack, snack, lunch box, water bottle and a mask. Water bottle filling stations are available. Students are encouraged to bring in a reusable water bottle to school each day.
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Morning Drop Off (8:55 a.m.)
Buses will drop off students in the front of the building
Cars will enter the parking lot and bear right following the arrows. A line of cars will form by the auditorium windows. Students may exit the vehicles and proceed to the door where a staff member will be on duty
Please do not drop off your child before 8:55 as supervision will not be available.
Afternoon Pick Up (3:20 p.m.)
Please send in a note if you are planning to pick up your child.
Proceed into the parking lot and form a line of cars by the auditorium windows. Please have your child's last name on a paper placed on your dashboard and remain in your car. Staff will send students out as you arrive.
First Day of School (Sept. 9th)
- 3rd Graders- proceed to the auditorium
- 4th & 5th Graders- proceed to the classroom (staff will be in the hallway directing students)
- Staff and students are required to wear a mask in the building.
- Mask breaks will be offered to students throughout the day. Students will not need to wear masks when outdoors.
- Outdoor spaces will be available for teachers to hold class outside.
- Classroom desks are spaced 3 feet apart.
- Students will eat lunch outside or in designated indoor spaces 6 feet apart.
- Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building.
- Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.

Please keep our nurse informed of any changes in your child's health.
Emergency Action plans or medication can be dropped off before the first day of school. Nurse Gill will be available on Monday, August 30th.
