Family Feature: The Knowles

Family Members: Brad and Kayla

About Kayla: Kayla grew up in a military family, and even though they moved several times, she considers Valdosta, Georgia her hometown. In 2014, Kayla graduated from Faulkner University with a degree in Business Administration. She is currently working as a manager at Chick-fil-A. Kayla enjoys working, going to the gym, watching Netflix, shopping, playing soccer, volleyball, and video games.

About Brad: Being from a military family too, Brad's family moved several times too. Brad spent a good chunk of time in Prattville. He has served our country in the United States Air Force through deployments to the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Brad will earn the rank of Lieutenant in just a few months. Currently, he is working on a degree in criminal justice at Auburn University Montgomery and is on track to graduate in May. When Brad's not studying or fulfilling ROTC duties, he enjoys playing computer games, going to the gym, watching Netflix, and building model airplanes. Brad is also a gun enthusiast.

About the Knowles Family: Brad and Kayla met when they were in elementary school and both of their families were stationed in England. Roughly ten years later, their paths crossed again, here in Alabama. They began dating, and the rest is history! Brad and Kayla will celebrate their two-year anniversary on April 18. They adopted two dogs from the Humane Society: Scruffy, an Australian Shepard mix, and Carlie, a German Shepherd mix.
