From The Principal

We hope everyone enjoyed the Fall Festival this week! It was a fun time with family, friends, games, and candy!

Tomorrow begins November and that means we only have 3 weeks until Thanksgiving Break! Take some time this weekend to check in with your child on his/her academics. Have you check grades in our Parent Portal? This is a great way to stay up to date on how your child is doing academically! Encourage your child to continue working hard and giving 100% to their work at school. We appreciate your partnership!

Have a great weekend!

Perfect Attendance Incentives

Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes. Please see Pages 3-4 of the Student Handbook for the Attendance guidelines.

Prize for November: Television

When you are ready for life, you follow the laws and rules that are in place, contribute to the world around you, serve others, support authority, and always try to leave the environment around you better than when you found it. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, CITIZENSHIP.

This weeks I will statement:

“I will be a great citizen in my school by following rules in the classroom and around the campus .”

Finishing up the month of October is the University of Texas at San Antonio. Our own Mrs. Benter is a Roadrunner alum. This campus has 32,000 students who focus on architecture and education as they study in beautiful San Antonio. Go to: for more info.
