Dia De Los Muertos Art Show

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Lobo Library will host an Art Show featuring Day of the Dead/Día de Muertos altar displays beginning October 31st (Wednesday) through November 15th (Thursday). If you are interested in honoring a loved one, please contact Christy Saldivar at csaldiva@houstonisd.org.


All clubs, organizations, and departments are also invited to participate.

Halloween Faculty Costume Contest

Heroes & Villains

This year's theme for the Lobo Library Faculty Halloween Costume theme is Heroes & Villains!


We invite you all to dress up as your favorite hero or villain. Last year, A-House brought their A-Game! Who will be this year's winners? Prizes will be given to our most creative costumes.

Fall Book Fair

Dates: October 29th to November 9th

Happiness is the smell of a new book.


It's Book Fair Time, LOBOS!


Please bring your classes to the book fair or encourage your students to stop by for a small purchase. Every $dollar$ counts & every $25 purchase will get you a FREE POSTER!


All proceeds will go towards making the Lobo Library a better place for you all.


If you are interested in purchasing a book online, the online shop will be available October 24 through November 6, 24 hours a day! We will post the website as soon as it is live.

Fall Voter Registration Drive

New Lobo Voters!

On October 1st and 2nd, we invited Voto Latino (http://votolatino.org/) to register our Lobos to vote in the upcoming 2018 election. Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar's came by to all of our Government and Economic classes and registered over 100 students!


If you haven't registered to vote or need to make a change of address, pick up a voter registration card in the library.


Last day to register to vote is Tuesday, October 9th.


Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th.
