STEM and Exergames
Clyde the Cougar is Going Techy!!
College of Charleston and Purdue University have come together to engage middle-school students in STEM and FITNESS using an innovative after-school program called TECHFIT. TECHFIT provides Charleston County middle schoolers an opportunity to learn computer programming skills in a fun and engaging program creating fitness exergames. The showcase provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their games and promotional materials.

TECHFIT TEAMS
Four middle-school teams will demonstrate their STEM projects and Fitness Exergame. Awards will be given in several categories to recognized game design, promotion and graphics, math and assessment, science and lifestyle, and community and sustainability team efforts. The schools participating in this competition are: Haut Gap Middle, Charleston Development Academy, Morningside Middle and Mount Zion.
