Labor Day Holiday

Heritage Middle School will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day.

PTA Membership

Join HMS PTA and help us make this year the best yet! All you need to do is print this registration form and have your student leave it with your check, made out to HMS PTA, in the office. This form also gives you the opportunity to participate in our Bronco Bucks fundraiser. Bronco Bucks means no door-to-door sales for our Broncos!

Volunteers Needed

Hello PTA parents! Would you like to get involved at HMS as a volunteer? Please contact Mary Ellen Blackstone at meblackstone@gmail.com. We have many opportunities to get involved as a parent volunteer. Even if you aren't able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule we can still use your help. At HMS there are many different programs and activities that need assistance. Please send Mary Ellen a note and let her know you are interested in being in the volunteer pool. PTA members please report your volunteer hours at this link - or email Mary Ellen.

HMS Fall Student Social

Students, come on out for the Jeans and Jerseys fall social!

September 25, 2015

7th and 8th - 8:00-10:00 PM

For more information, see the flyer!

HMS Fall Social Volunteers Needed

The first social for the year is Friday, September 25. We need many volunteers to make this a successful and fun event for the students. Please email Mary Ellen Blackstone at meblackstone@gmail.com if you can help.

Parent Reminder - Dropping Off Items

Parents, the office staff will no longer be responsible for notifying and/or reminding students of dropped off items needed during or after school such as lunches, homework, clothes, and binders. This interrupts teachers and students during class time. Please tell your student that if they forgot an item or called you to bring something, they need to check the bookcase outside the office during passing periods. Thank you for your help in this process.

Dear Parents, Staff and Community Members,

As we enter the fifth year of our strategic plan LEAD 2021 you have the opportunity to help us continue shaping the future of your school and our district. We are undertaking a new process to better understand shared concerns and positive things at GCISD.

The process is made up of three steps: Share – Star – Discover.

Visit Thoughtexchange at http://gcisd-k12.thoughtexchange.com/invitation to share your thoughts for the future of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. The first interaction – Share – will take about five to fifteen minutes of your time. The subsequent steps – Star and Discover – will come later this fall.

Share your thoughts and consider the thoughts of others as we work to make GCISD the best it can be!
