Remediation Opportunity
Details were shared with your child on Monday, April 20, in an News announcement, on how he/she can earn extra points towards one assignment submitted during the second half of the semester. You can view specific details regarding this opportunity on the course home page once you access your parent account. The purpose of this opportunity is to allow your child a chance to demonstrate that he/she has a better understanding of the course content that was not mastered previously. The deadline to submit the assignment will be 5:00 p.m., April 27. This opportunity is optional but one that I would recommend for those students who desire to improve their grade percentage.

Spring 2015 Surveys
Your child has received information about the completing the Spring 2015 Course Survey. The survey includes questions about your child's experience as a GaVS student. Though the survey is optional, I request that you encourage your child to complete the survey so we can receive feedback on his/her experience and obtain information on how we can enhance the educational experience we provide. As a bonus, I have shared with students in a news announcement that 10% credit will be applied towards their lowest quiz/test grade for completing the survey.
You will also receive an email in a few days requesting that you complete the Spring 2015 Parent Survey. I also encourage you to provide feedback.
