Ethos
"I recognize the ethos you are portraying--Cherokee, right?" The character of the speaker or writer. Are they a respected person or an expert on the issue being communicated?
Pathos
The emotional appeal to the listener or reader. The language moves people to action.
Logos
The proof or evidence given to support ideas or claims. This includes depth in details, analysis and evaluation of the subject matter.
