Important Kindergarten Information

Thursday, August 24 First day of school for students in grades 1-5

Kindergarten visitation – see information below

** Important Save the Date: Kindergarten students will not ride the bus to school on Thursday, August 24. Instead, you will bring your child to kindergarten on the first day for a 45 minute orientation specific to our Kindergarten families. This visit will familiarize your child with his/her new classroom, let him/her meet the teacher and will prepare all of our students for their first full day of kindergarten on Friday, August 25. In order to make this a special day for you and your kindergartner, we respectfully request no siblings attend.

In order to reduce the number of families in our Kindergarten rooms at one time, we are utilizing final class rosters to assign specific orientation times. Therefore, your specific orientation time will not be known until after August 17 when class rosters are published. You will receive a specific correspondence from the classroom teacher with your assigned orientation time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
