Family Fare Receipts
We are still collecting Family Fare receipts. Last year our school earned $2,000 from Family Fare by turning in receipts. We are trying to exceed that amount this year! Please collect receipts and send them into your child's teacher. These funds are used for activities, field trips and busing for these extra activities.
Cooler Weather Approaching
As the weather cools please be mindful that students go to the playground in the morning before school starts and also at lunch recess. Just a reminder to make sure your child(ren) are dressed for the weather so they are able to enjoy this time outside. This year we increased our lunch recess time to 30 minutes to allow our learners time to interact with their peers and play outside.
Morning Drop Off Reminder
We have a great morning drop off system for all students that do not ride the bus. The parking lot on 5th Street always has a person ready to greet you and help your child out of the car...all you have to do is pull through. Students may go to the playground or to the cafeteria for breakfast after being dropped off. The lobby by the office is primarily used for preschool drop off and if you are waiting to walk to class with your child. Please be sure to sign into the office if you are doing so.
Respectful, Responsible, Safe!
Each week our entire student body will focus on two expectations.
This coming week we will review hallway and playground expectations.
If you would like to be added to our Remind text please email: ejesmail@ejps.org or call 231-536-7564 to be added to the new Remind group. When you are added you will receive a text, please respond to be added to the list.
