Sequoia Middle Student Selected as Local BGC's 2024 Youth of the Year
Congratulations to Dexter, an 8th grade student at Sequoia Middle School who was selected as the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Conejo Valley's 2024 Youth of the Year! The Youth of the Year program recognizes young people for their outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence, and dedication to health and wellbeing. Dexter was chosen for this award from all BGC members in the CVUSD and neighboring LVUSD. Dexter is described as: "a focused and determined member who is driven to excel. He always comes into the club with a big “hello” and is friendly to his peers. He never gives up and is an excellent example of perseverance!" Congratulations Dexter!
