Golf Field Trip Friday
If you signed up to be a chaperone but haven't received an email with information, please let me know. Students should wear comfortable clothes and bring a bag lunch unless they ordered one from the cafeteria.
Other Information:
- If you could take a second and fill out this VERY quick survey about parent/teacher communication this year, it would really help me plan on ways to improve for next year. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3HWPDR3
- We are going to be shooting rockets using an air compressor on May 23rd around 12:30. If there are any dads (or moms) who would be willing to help us run the air compressor and shoot the rockets during that time, please let me know.
- Our End of the Year Luau will be on May 24th from 11:30-1:00pm. Students are encouraged to wear tropical/Hawaiian clothing, and our fantastic room mom, Mrs. Pidhayny, is planning fun Hawaiian-themed activities for the students to do in celebration of their fourth grade year. If you'd like to send in treats for the party, the sign-up genius for food is listed below. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0c4eaaa628a1f85-endofthe1
- Over the next few weeks, students in my afternoon block will be participating in an activity called, "Expert for a Day." On their designated day, each child will present on an area they are an "expert" in. This can be a particular hobby, sport, activity, or passion. They must explain and demonstrate their area of expertise, and then teach their classmates how to do their activity. Students can bring in props, tools, and or presentation tools. The idea is for them to get creative and get a chance to shine in front of their classmates.
