What are your students working on in November?
- Continued Digital Citizenship, Growth Mindset
- Fiction vs. Non-fiction
- Computer lab expectations, how to navigate the library website
- Using Choice Boards during choice time
- Understanding the layout of the library and how to checkout books
- How to work at stations (makerspace, centers, group work)
Students in 3-5 currently attend Library at a fixed time. However, their schedule is more flexible and revolves around checkout and integrated classroom research and projects. They will be working on the following for now:
- Digital Citizenship (how to be safe online, media balance, understanding personal and private information, being responsible)
- Specifically what is personal and private information and gender stereotypes in marketing
Checkout Common Sense Media for any questions you have regarding digital citizenship. This is a great website to check out to see if movies or books are age appropriate for your children.
