The First Computers
Alan Turing was the person who first thought of a computer. During the Second World War, Turing helped crack the Enigma code using the Colossus. Before he thought of computers, he was a mathematician studying at Cambridge University.
WWW (World Wide Web)
Sir Tim Berners-Lee was the creator of the WWW. When he was in his office, he had a mass overload where he could not find the file that he wanted. He came up with the idea that if he put the idea of hypertext with the internet he could have links connecting everything.
What is a Computer?
All a computer really is, is a very complexed counting machine that can be programmed to do a huge amount things with just a click of a button.
