Host a student from Thailand
World Heritage Student Exchange
Explore different cultures--right in the comfort of your own home!
World Heritage is currently welcoming families to host our International high school exchange students for the 2014-15 school year. Students range in age from 15-18 years old and represent many different countries from around the world. Students come with their own medical coverage, provide their own spending money, and are looking forward to being involved in all aspects of family life.
Featured Student
Cream from Thailand
Cream is a 14 year old girl from a town south of Bangkok, there she lives with her parents and older sister. She has a very supportive and lovely family, "they always take care of me and my sisters and they always listen to me when I have problems and they always come with good advice." Cream describes herself as cheerful, friendly, positive and outgoing. She loves to learn new things and wants to gain more experiences which she cannot find in Thailand. Cream spent time as an exchange student in China, and is looking forward to improving her English as and exchange student in America. She likes to play basketball and volleyball, but is wanting to try some new sports as an exchange student, "some other sports that involves ice or snow because it looks interesting. But not snow and ice here." Cream also plays the ukulele, enjoys watching tv, playing with her dogs and traveling with her friends. Cream has received good advice from her older sister who was an exchange student in California and knows it will be incredibly amazing, even if it is hard. She wants to see how people in the other part of the world live and the culture, so she can understand the world even better. "I hope that you will feel my strong will to work with your family and let me become a part of your family."
We currently have students from France, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Germany, China, Thailand, Japan, & Azerbaijan (to name a few) who are ready to be placed with a host family. World Heritage students are personable, academically selected, conversant in English, bright, curious, excited and ready to learn about America by living as part of your family, attending high school and sharing their own culture and language with you.
