The Winter season can affect people’s moods, even our teenagers, so commonly that there is a name for it: The Winter Blues. Other people may experience a more significant form of seasonal depression, called Seasonal Affective Disorder. You might be feeling sad, irritable, or gloomy among other symptoms. Valentine's Day Gifts/Treats
We want to remind everyone that we are not able to accept Valentine's Day gifts/deliveries from parents or couriers during the school day for students. As always, we ask that families save these special Valentine's Day gifts for home and refrain from sending them to school. Thank you for understanding and helping us with this.
Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Krispy Kreme donuts are coming to Gentry Middle School in February! PTSA is raising funds for our students, teachers and building, and we need everyone’s help! Students will be selling delicious glazed Krispy Kreme donuts by the dozen; the cost is $10 a box. Sales packets were given to students in their advisory classes today; you can start taking orders this weekend! All orders and money collected will be due to the office by Monday, February 11. Fresh donuts will arrive at Gentry on Saturday, February 23, and students will need to pick them up for delivery between 8:30am-11:00am. Money raised from donut sales will benefit our school in a variety of ways including helping to purchase our new sound system, giving teacher grants this semester, and supporting end of year celebrations for 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Thank you for your support!!
See attachments below for additional copies of Krispy Kreme Fundraiser information and order forms.
