Message from Mrs. Kilday
For all who are celebrating Halloween today, have a wonderful time and be safe!
We had so much fun at school this week! Our Pumpkin STEAM week was a huge hit! We hope you enjoy the many pictures included in today's newsletter. These will give you a good sense of everything we did with our pumpkins. Thank you for your generosity! Because of you we had a total of162 pumpkins to work with !
One of our activities was to guess the weight of the pumpkin in the hallway. Congratulations to Ava from room 7 for guessing the closest. Our pumpkin weighed 24 pounds. Ava will receive the pumpkin and a copy of Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper.
Room 7 is on a roll this week because our Act of Kindness acknowledgement also comes from room 7. A big shout out to our friend Alex for showing such kindness to his friends this week. Alex noticed that some friends were having a hard time opening their snack bags and he went around with a pair of scissors and helped LOTS of friends open their snacks!! How kind!
As you can see, we had a great week last week.
Have a wonderful evening everyone.
Donna
We had a visit from our Interim Superintendent, Mr. Folan last week!

Reminder - Cantonstock!
MUSICCOUNTS! and the Canton Performing Arts Department proudly present Cantonstock 2021 on November 6th 12-4pm.
Cantonstock is the annual music extravaganza that showcases hundreds of student musicians representing all performing ensembles in the Canton schools, and is the primary fundraiser for MusicCounts, the volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to supporting all music programs in all the Canton Public Schools!
This year, Cantonstock will be located outdoors at the Canton High School so you can enjoy student performances live in-person. The mission is to raise funds for music programming for all students!
