Parent Guide to ESSA State and Local Report Cards
Dear Parent/Guardian,
North Dakota launched a new website last year designed to help communities across the state to access important information about K-12 districts and schools. Insights features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success, including:
• Test Scores
• Graduation Rates
• English Language Progress
• Student Attendance
Insights, or more commonly referred to as the “Dashboard,” is part of North Dakota’s accountability system. It was one of the next steps in a series of major shifts in public education that have raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing, and placed the focus on equity for all students.
As a team, we want to work together to continue to improve the educational programs at Central Cass Public School.
To find out more information about Central Cass Public Schools, visit our school website
(https://www.central-cass.k12.nd.us/) under the About Us section, then Central Cass Insight or click HERE.
If you have questions about this information, please contact the school.
Thank you,
Central Cass Administration
Central Cass Accountability Snapshot
Storm Delays and Cancellations
Because we are mainly a rural school district we do not take closing school lightly but always try to keep the best interests of our students and staff in mind, working closely with the Cass County Sheriff's Office and other local schools to make our final decisions. As you know, in North Dakota, the conditions change not only by the hour but by the minute and we try to take that into consideration. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we make those difficult decisions to stay open or to close our school in the future.
PLEASE NOTE: When school is two hours late the building will also open two hours late. Students may not be in the building while there is no one available to supervise.
