Try out a new tech tool in your classroom!

Piktochart - Alli Waugh

Piktochart is a web-based infographic software, which allows users without intensive experience as graphic designers to create professional-grade infographics, using templates. This could be a new presentation tool for you or your students!

Do Ink - Kasey Moon

My favorite go to app would be Do Ink. They have an animation and drawing app that is great to create frame-by-frame animations in a flip book-style drawing. Great for beginners and advanced animators. They also have a green screen app that is easy to use. You can use live video, pictures, or import from the animations app to create a fun video.

Here is my example I made for the 2nd graders who are just starting to use Do Ink.

Spooky House

Kahoot - Kristin Sheffield

A game-based classroom response system. You are able to create and play quizzes, discussions or surveys using any device with a web browser.

There will also be a tech session featuring Kahoot! at our next PD day!

Blogger - Bailey Gulley

The resource I use most often is Blogger. It's Google's blogging site, so it's extremely easy to use in conjunction with Google Drive and Docs. I use it as my classroom website; I update it daily to let the kids know what we are doing in class. I can easily link or embed assignments and other resources for the students. I really enjoy that I can personalize the themes, fonts, and layouts too to make each class its own online learning space.
