All About Me
It was very exciting in our classes this week as we began to use our our iPad minis to support our learning.
One of our focuses this week was to name different parts of the body. We looked very closely at the features of the face and produced a 3D model to show what we know.
The Rubies and Sapphires have also been very busy matching quantity to numeral both in and out of doors and we are getting really good at numeral recognition.
What's happened in Ruby Class this week?
All Aboard!!!
Using the outdoor equipment we created lots of vehicles. Here is our bus, we said "The wheels on the bus" as we steered the bus through the playground!
Mark Making
This week we have been using lots of different things to create marks and shapes, we used chalk to create circles and swirls, then we had even more fun as we cleaned the marks from the outdoor area!
Looking after our classroom
This week we have been working hard to keep our classroom clean and tidy. We have also introduced number cards to each area, so we know how many children can play there.

How can we help this poorly doll? Our role play area this week is a Doll's Hospital and we have had lots of fun looking after our dolls by giving them medicine and keeping them comfortable.

Play dough is a great way to learn about number formation and quantity.
