Subject: Dinner at school 2015/2016
Hi Julie! Last night the Board approved a new summer program and after school program that will include the Child Nutrition Department preparing meals, such as Breakfast & Lunch for the Summer Program and Dinner for the Afterschool Program. I had discussed the options with members of the Board and Administration here at Karnack after the October Board Meeting. Recently Karnack recieved a Grant to operate these programs, so that was the first question the Board President asked. "Were we going to provide meals to the students that would stay late?" Thanks to both You and Ms. Marshall's info at the Board Meeting in October, the information was still fresh on their minds. I will need some guidance I'm sure. Thought that you would want to know. Thanks! Joe Griffin, Karnack ISD

Subject: Re: Follow up to Day 2 Session of New Admin Academy
Mrs. Echols,
I have to compliment you on your sessions. I look forward to your high energy and supportive nature. Your sessions have been very engaging and meaningful, and this is the first workshop in a long time that the presenter has not just read the powerpoint. I have encouraged other staff to take any sessions from you because of the positive experience I have had. Thank you for your insight and interactive activities.
Have a great week!
