TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS CHRONICLE
VOL. 4 NO. 31
PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
WEEK ENDING IN 04/08/2022
Dear OSES Families,
The Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) period started this week. Students in grades K-2 are not required to take an assessment. As a public charter, our school is required to participate in the assessment.
We understand there are many perspectives and viewpoints regarding standardized testing. The results of the test do impact our school and are very important to demonstrate student and school growth from year to year.
That being said, OSES has always believed that if students are provided a warm learning environment, challenged academically and socially, inspired by staff and one another, and engaged, instead of teaching to the test, our students will be successful. It is also important to note that success may look differently for each student.
Good luck to all students,
Mr. Singleton
