WE SURVIVED!!!!
MISSING WORK THIS WEEK
PEEK AT THE WEEK
Math: In math this week, we are starting FRACTIONS!!!!!! If you can't tell, I love fractions! This is going to be a really fun unit, but this is also one of the most difficult concepts for children to understand. Be on the look out for a lot of resources over the quarter to support your child in this area.
Language Arts: We will continue accountability in daily five this week! Each day, the students will track their choices and what they accomplished during each round. Students will have the option to listen to reading, read to someone, read to self, work on words, and work on writing.
-We are focusing on how to write a well constructed response using evidence from the text, specifically utilizing evidence-based terms.
In writing, we will continue our unit on opinion writing.
Social Studies: We are going to be starting our unit on economy. This is another one of my favorite units because it is so practical to the world that we live in.
This is going to be an exciting quarter!!
