A Message from Mrs. Booth
Dear Silver Springs Families,
It is hard to believe that we are entering the second week of May already. May always seems like the busiest month of the school year because we have so many fun activities for students and families. Last Friday, we would have held the Multi-Cultural Festival. This is one of my absolute favorite events of the entire school year! My heart was heavy knowing that this is the first time in a very long time that we were not able to come together to celebrate the diversity at Silver Springs. Next year, we will have to have an all-out celebration :)
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, and caregivers! I hope that you are celebrated well today!
Stay safe and be well!
Katie Booth
Principal

Leader in Me Parent Survey
As a Leader in Me Lighthouse school we are always working to understand how we can improve. Please complete the survey below as part of an annual assessment to help all members of the school community (students, parents, and the adults who work at the school) understand how we're doing. Your responses will provide us with important information to help us become even better. All of your responses are completely anonymous. The survey should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Please try to respond to all items. Thank you!

Silver Springs Elementary School offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2020/2021 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by your school.
The Northville Council of PTAs in partnership with the middle and elementary schools are very excited about our school supply kit fundraiser ~ providing a convenient way for families to purchase school supplies for the coming school year. The school supply lists have been developed by the teachers in each grade, at each school.
Please note that the supply lists are simply suggestions of helpful items and are strictly voluntary, as Northville Public Schools provide the necessary supplies and materials for your child’s successful school experience.
Your student's order will be delivered directly to your school before the first day of school.
Extended ordering is available from June 13, 2020 - August 06, 2020 for an additional fee and will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.

An Invitation to Northville's "Virtual" STEAM Fair
For the safety of our school community, the 6th Annual Northville STEAM Fair was cancelled for this year. However, upon learning that many students had continued their projects, a "virtual" fair was created. Please go to http://www.northvillesteamfair.com/ to see the 20 projects that were submitted via video or presentation. They will also be featured on Northville Public School and the Northville Educational Foundation's Facebook Page. Please share so that our students can be showcased in our Northville Schools Community. Thank you to all who participated!
