Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I am so glad to greet everyone each morning with a Hug, High Five or Handshake. Making connections each day helps to build relationships. The majority of the staff at Glenn has been trained in Capturing Kids Hearts which is a program which has transformational processes focused on social-emotional wellbeing, relationship-driven school culture, and student connectedness. Students are able to share “good things” with their peers which also helps them gain confidence in speaking in front of and to groups of people.

Each month we will collect items to put under our “Giving Tree” for local community organizations. For the month of September we are collecting for Al-Van Humane Society in South Haven. This is a great way for students, families and community members to get involved in community service activities and help those in need. Feel free to drop off items Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm or you can send items via Amazon or Chewy directly to them.

Enjoy these last few days of summer! Fall is right around the corner.
