King Leonidas I

King Leonidas was the King of Sparta and was the leader of the Greece side at the Battle of Thermopylae. He led the whole Greek army against the Persians, King Leonidas was the distraction with his 300 spartans while the rest of the army flee and was ready for the second part of the plan.

The Battle of Thermopylae

The Battle Of Thermopylae was at 480 BC at Thermopylae between a mixed Greek army consist of most of Greek. The Persians put all their forces to use and when on a full force attack with as much people as they could. This was because the Persian king Xerxes I of Persia wanted to avenge his father King Darius I. They planned to burn Athens to the ground.
