Virtual Field Day
We are excited to announce our 2020 Virtual Field Day that will take place on May 26th and 27th. Below are the event cards as well as what supplies and equipment you might need. All of these things can be found around the house. During the event times we encourage you to try one or all ten of the events that are shared with you. We will have a Padlet page that you will be able to upload pictures and videos to so that we can share our experience together! We hope for this to be a fun way to end this school year!

Report Cards
I= The student has not turned in work or has turned in minimal work (not enough to provide a rating of Pass) during remote learning.
P= The student has provided sufficient evidence for passing during remote learning.
Your child's teacher should have already contacted you if your child may get an Incomplete. Students will receive a passing grade if they completed 60% of the learning activities in their subject areas. If not, then an Incomplete will be documented.
Please note that an Incomplete does not mean a student has failed. It simply is to document the learning engagement during Remote Learning this Spring. All students will be moving onto the next grade level next year.

Read to Succeed
Congratulations to the 165 MES students who successfully completed the Six Flags Read to Succeed program! The FREE Great America tickets are now available for those students who participated in the program. If you registered your child, you should have received an email from Six Flags Read to Succeed that contains a link allowing you to download and print the ticket. If your child's teacher registered your child, she will be emailing you the ticket.
There are a few changes to note this year...1) tickets are valid for the entire 2020 season, and 2) prior to visiting the park, you MUST make an advance reservation at sixflags.com/reserve (This is very important as Six Flags will be setting capacity limits at each of their parks. Guests cannot just show up with a ticket.) If you have any questions, please contact Renee Marasco at rmarasco@millburn24.net.
