Are you Prepared for the Weather?
- As the winter weather has arrived, please be sure that the children have coats, hats, etc. for outdoor recess. We try to make sure the children get outside for fresh air and enjoy some physical activity throughout the winter months, based on the temperature and wind chill factors. In addition, please be sure to label your child's clothing and items brought to school. This will help us to eliminate an overcrowded lost and found area!
- Please be sure to check out the District School Closing Information page. Be prepared for Inclement Weather and School Delays.

Delayed Opening of School Reminder
As a reminder, when Central Bucks School District operates on a 2-hour delayed schedule, the kindergarten program will operate according to a “modified” schedule. This schedule would be as follows:
C Schools (Barclay, Butler, Groveland, Linden and Warwick):
- AM Students 11:05AM – 12:50PM
- PM Students 2:00PM – 3:45PM
This change does not impact transportation. AM students will come in on buses with the delayed start times and PM students will go home on buses as normal.
CBSD Health & Safety Plan Update
Dear Parents,
As you have been made aware, the district informed the CB community about the most recent masking update. At this time (12/15/21), masking is optional for students and staff.
I continue to ask all families to notify me and our Certified School Nurse (Tina Boyer tboyer@cbsd.org) if your child, or someone in your family, tests positive for Covid. If your child tests positive, or is a household close contact, you will receive direct communication from me about the district guidelines.
Classroom email blasts, as well as bus emails, will still be sent to that specific grouping if a positive case is reported.
I ask all families to be mindful of their child’s symptoms. If you ever have a question, please feel free to contact me or our health office.
Sincerely,
Mike Testani
