How I Will Help
On Earth day everyone can help save the Earth including ME! On Earth day I am going to save energy, water, paper and reuse many things. Some examples on how I will help the Earth are... 1. Recycle all paper, plastic, cardboard, and more. 2. Use less water and light by turning off the lights and water when i'm not using them. Lastly 3.I will use reusable items like water bottles, plates, napkins and clothes! These things don't have to be done just on Earth day they can be apart of daily life!
Earth day History
A lot of people don't know the history on Earth day. You may just think it is a day to go green, but this is how Earth got started.
Earth day was started in 1970 by Gaylord Nelson because he was really passionate of the Earth. He wanted people to take a day to think about how to save the Earth. So, Gaylord Nelson took a stand. He went to John F. Kennedy and convinced him to put a whole day aside for saving the Earth. He did get what he wanted eventually and that's why we celebrate Earth day on April 22 every year!
