"Engineering New Vaccines and Cancer Therapies with Hitch-hiking Therapeutics"


Darrell J. Irvine, Ph.D. is a Professor of Materials Science & Engineering and Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His laboratory works at the interface of materials science and immunology, with an emphasis on vaccine development for HIV and cancer immunotherapy.

The Controlled Release Society - Connecticut

It is the goal of the chapter to contribute to the advancement of the field of drug delivery. In order to achieve this, the chapter provides a comfortable atmosphere in which scientists and engineers can share information on drug delivery, controlled release, and the broad scientific area related to pharmaceuticals, with a multidisciplinary focus revolving around drug delivery and including: chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutics, physical chemistry, materials science, and the biological sciences.
