Weight Gain
If you were of average weight before you got pregnant you should gain about 25-35 pounds.
If you were over weight before you should gain about 15-25 pounds.
If you were underweight you should gain about 28-40 pounds.
Tips for eating healthy during pregnancy
Eat a variety of foods to get all nutrients.
Choose foods that are high in fiber.
Make sure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals.
Folic acid everyday.
Vitamins needed and how much?
70 mg of vitamin C.
Vitamin A every other day.
400 IU of vitamin D.
6 mcg vitamin B12.
10 mg of vitamin E.
Difference between empty calorie and nutrient density
Empty calorie- Fatty food that has lots of sugar and does not good when it comes to nutrients.
Nutrient density- Food with plenty of nutrients and is very healthy.
