Important News & Reminders...
1. Winter Celebration:
Be on the lookout for a sign up genius about Winter Celebration. We would love for you to come join us for an exciting winter-themed day of learning & fun! Mark your calendars now.... Wednesday, December 21st
2. Are you Going Out of Town?
If your family will be leaving early for Winter break, please let me know now. This will greatly help with planning for end of the year lessons and events. Thank you!
3. NO Clubs:
Please note that there will be no clubs on the last week of the semester (December 19-22). Please make arrangements to pick up your child accordingly! Regular aftercare will also be available this week.

Blessings in a Backpack Continues
Members of the service learning club are asking for your help to please support the school's "Blessings in a Backpack" outreach initiative.
Suggested donation items include:
- Pre K – K : Fruit Cups/Canned Chicken Soup
- Grade 1: Canned Vegetables/Clementines/WOW Butter (Horizon product)
- Grade 2: Mac and Cheese Cups/Canned Pastas – like Ravioli, Spaghetti and others
- Grade 3: Pudding Cups/ Apple Sauce Cups/Grits and Mashed Potatoes
- Grade 4: Granola Bars/Mixed Fruit Bars/Apples
- Grade 5: Canned Tuna/Canned Vienna Sausages/ Fruit Gummies
- Grade 6: Pretzels/Cheezits Snack Foods/Pop Tarts
- Grade 7: Popcorn/Rice Krispie Treats/ Individual Rice Packets
- Grade 8: Cookies/Raisins/Individually wrapped baked goods – like Muffins
- Grades 9-10: Single serving shelf stable milk (made by Horizon)/Single serve Breakfast Cereals/ Oatmeal Packets
All items should be in individual size packs. Thank you!
Variety Show Auditions!
Any student interested in participating must first audition. We ask that interested participants please choose an audition time slot below using this group signup form. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Please tell us in the comment section what you plan to do for your audition and what, if anything, you need from us (background music, etc.) It is important to make sure that you can commit to arriving at least five minutes before your chosen audition time.
Please note: if you miss your audition, you will forfeit your opportunity to perform.
ALSO, PLEASE PLAN TO AUDITION ONLY IF YOU WILL BE HERE FOR THE PERFORMANCES.
Variety Show Performance Dates/Times:
Elementary Show - Monday, December 19th @ 2:30pm
Middle/High Show - Tuesday, December 20th @ 2:30pm
4th & 5th grades: TBD; performers in this age group will be assigned to one of the shows above based upon the number of qualified entries.

Giving Tuesday Campaign Continues
We are well on our way towards having 100% family participation and raising $150,000 by December 31. It takes a team effort, but together, anything is possible!
School Wide Family Participation Levels
- 75% participation - Dress down day for students and faculty.
- 85% participation - An ice cream celebration will be made available to all students and faculty. + Dress down day.
- 95% participation - A yummy lunch will be provided for all students and faculty within the school. + Ice cream truck + Dress down day.
- 100% participation - I have agreed to be SLIMED during a schoolwide assembly. :) + Yummy lunch + Ice cream truck + Dress down day.
If you have already donated to our fund, THANK YOU! Your name will be removed from future campaign-related email addresses, and we hope you know how much we appreciate your gift! If you have not yet contributed, and you are able to...please feel free to log onto our website.
