News from Ms. Moltisanti
Happy March! This will feel like a VERY short month. The first and last weeks of the month are our only full 5-day school weeks. As COVID infections have dipped sharply for us, it is important for your children to be in school every single day. We still have lots of learning to do prior to end-of-year assessments.
We held our first Kindergarten Round Up on February 24 and had a nice turnout. Registration for 2022-23 Kindergarten is officially under way! We will have another Round Up on April 28 for families who weren't able to attend. In the meantime, please call Karla, our Registration Clerk, with any questions you might have.
Are you considering Mintz as your school but don't live in the neighborhood? The next Choice Enrollment opens on March 23. This window is also for parents of our 5th graders, who may be looking at options for middle school next year.
We do have limited seats in our PreK classes for VPK students each year. Your child would be eligible for VPK if they will be 4 years old by September 1, 2022. Our program is a full school day program, so there is a weekly fee involved. We are limited to 18 VPK students per year, and our spaces fill up quickly. We will be taking reservations in mid-March.

The Spring Book Fair is coming on March 25 and will run until April 1. Students will be able to attend during school hours if they bring cash to school, or if they have an eWallet set up online. Please look for Scholastic eWallet instructions to come home the week before Book Fair. Also, guardians will have an opportunity to sign up to bring students to the Book Fair after school from 2:30 – 3:30, by RSVPing to Mrs. Howell in the Media Center. More information coming soon!
