Spring Middle School Sports

Nighthawk Parents of MS Student Athletes,

Our athletics league, NCIL, met with all of our league Athletic Directors yesterday. With taking into consideration the Governor's order to extend school closures until 4/30 and now TSD making the decision to close for the rest of the year, the NCIL has decided to cancel the Spring Sports of Girls Soccer and Co-Ed Track.

In looking forward to the FALL Sports of Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball, the Girls Volleyball schedule has been uploaded to the NVCS home page, and the Boys Soccer schedule will be uploaded as soon as it is received.

Middle School Registration

Parents of next year's Middle School Students:

It's that time of year to register for fall classes! Please be watching for an email before Spring Break with a link for Middle School Course Registration. Courses in which students have a choice will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, so it's important to sit down with your child and complete the registration survey upon receipt. (Please also note that all parents and guardians will receive the registration email, so it's important to communicate so only one of you completes the survey.) If for some reason you do not receive the email, please contact our 4-8 Counselor for the registration survey link: Erin Jobman at

New Vision has a lot to offer for Middle School....many sports, several fun clubs, and leadership opportunities such as Student Council and National Junior Honor Society. At NVCS, we feel that we have a lot to offer our Middle School Students academically, physically, and socially in the hopes of turning out independent thinkers, lifelong learners, and well-rounded citizens. I would be excited to talk with you if you have any questions about the middle school experience at NVCS, both from a parent and a Counselor perspective!

Open Enrollment 2020 - 2021

As many of you know we are a school of choice. We rely on word of mouth, promotions, and our reputation of excellence to fill our seats and keep our school funding healthy.

As our clientele, you are our best advertisers! As we open enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year we are hosting parent information nights for prospective students and their parents. We will have many openings in grades K-8 next year and would love for you to help spread the word.

If you know of anyone who is looking for a change, or who is moving into the area please send them our way. Information about this event can also be found on our Facebook Page.

Have you been wanting to hone your leadership skills? Do you love being up in the mountains during the summer? If yes, this is for you! RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is a life-changing leadership training program for young men and women where leadership skills and principles are learned, developed and enhanced in an atmosphere of trust and respect. The purpose of RYLA is to encourage and assist current and potential youth leaders in methods of responsible and effective leadership.
