These Halls Can Talk Oral Documentary Project
It has been a pleasure to share media center office space with this young lady, as she gets ready to move her oral documentary footage to production. Her work is more timely now, than ever as the school approaches its 95th anniversary. Shaleisa Brewer is a BTW graduate herself, Class 2008 - - and is giving back to her alma mater in the form of her time and talents! She and I both share a passion for BTW School History, and it's been such a treat to team up with her, to encourage current Washington students to follow the oral history process in order to preserve the history and legacy of this iconic institution, while connecting with older generations.
